Formed in October 2024, CLADA have taken what has been celebrated as part of Irish tradition for years and ramped it up to all new heights with their fast melody’s and tight rhythms. Dublin-born singer-songwriter George Murphy burst onto the Irish music scene at just 17 following RTÉ’s You’re a Star, signing to Sony Ireland and scoring a No.1 debut album, Dreamed A Dream, which went triple-platinum. Widely praised by legends such as Phil Coulter, Ronnie Drew and Peggy Seeger, Murphy quickly established himself as one of Ireland’s most compelling vocal talents.

Across a career spanning folk, trad and roots-driven songwriting, George has released multiple acclaimed albums, toured extensively in Ireland and the US, collaborated with artists including The Dubliners and Christy Dignam, and spent several years touring the world as a member of The High Kings.

Now fronting George Murphy & Sons, a powerhouse band formed close to home with family and friends, Murphy returns to the festival stage with a sound that blends tradition, storytelling and raw live energy — a show built for big crowds and unforgettable Sunday nights.
